Mrs. Connie Johnson

Mrs. Connie Johnson, Decatur, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Dekalb Medical Center, Decatur, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Tennille Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Lindra Fleming officiating. Interment was held in the Sandersville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born on October 28, 1953 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Leroy Hodges and the late Mrs. Gesela Major Hodges.

Connie attended the public schools of Washington County. She was a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia.

She was married to Mr. Ralph Johnson, Jr. for forty two years. Through this union they were blessed with two children; Jermain and Mindy. Connie enjoyed cooking, dancing and spending time with her family.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her husband Mr. Ralph Johnson, Decatur, Georgia; son: Mr. Jermain Johnson, Summerfield, Florida; daughter: Ms. Mindy Johnson, Decatur, Georgia; sister: Mrs. Edith (Mainard) Mills, Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers: Mr. John Major, Decatur, Georgia, Mr. Ransom Coleman, New York; two grandchildren: Mr. Marqavious Johnson, Ms. Markecia Johnson; several other relatives and friends.
