Ms. Bobbie Jean Gundy

Ms. Bobbie Jean Gundy, Sandersville, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 at Camp Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Mitchell officiating. Interment will be held in church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

Ms. Gundy was born on March 13, 1950 to the parentage of the late Mr. Holly Gundy and the late Mrs. Cora Salter Gundy.

At an early age, she joined Camp Spring Baptist church and attended faithfully until her health failed.

She was a graduate of the Washington County School System. Her greatest passion was a love of food, whether she was cooking or eating.

Ms. Gundy is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Serena (Rodney) Williams, Augusta, Georgia. Two sisters: Ms. Doris Poole, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Willie Pearl (Otis) Dixon, Davisboro, Georgia. Brother: Mr. Roger (Ola) Gundy, Harrison, Georgia. Aunt: Ms. Vernell Salter, Sandersville, Georgia. Granddaughter: Mrs. Destini (Donald) Williams Hudson, Arden, North Carolina. Sister-in-law: Mrs. Carolyn Gundy. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
