Mrs. Beulah Moye

Mrs. Beulah Moye, Bartow, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at a local hospital. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. at Scotts Chapel Baptist Church. Interment was held in church cemetery.

She was born on July 28, 1920 to the parentage of the late Ms. Mammie Hannah Brinson in Washington County.

On August 28, 1942 she was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Dave Moye. This union was blessed with seven children. They were happily married until the Lord called him home in 1996.

Mrs. Moye received her early education in Bartow, Georgia. She loved cooking, especially those good biscuits, hand sewing clothes, quilting and gardening.

She joined Scott Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully . She served as secretary for many years. She attended and supported her church until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Dave Moye, Sr.; granddaughter: Ms. Elshebrina Cinta Carswell, son: Mr. Hardrick Moye; four sisters: Ms. Oredia Jackson, Ms. Truddie Vining, Ms. Ethel Jones and Ms. Willie Clyde Brinson.

Mrs. Moye is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Beulah (Eugene) Tarver, Ms. Joyce Salter, Bartow, Georgia, Ms. Lillian Irwin, Tennille, Georgia, Mrs. Irma (Jimmy) Lattimore, Sandersville, Georgia. Two sons: Mr. Dave (Corace) Moye, Mr. Ben (Geraldine) Moye, Wrightsville, Georgia. Forty-eight grandchildren, one-hundred twenty nine great-grandchildren, sixty-seven great-great-grandchildren.
