Mr. Charles Poole

Mr. Charles Poole, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Cecil Moore officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Charles Poole was born in Sandersville, GA on May 10, 1953 to the parentage of Mr. Ennis Poole, Sr. and the late Mrs. Christine Hunt Poole.

Charles accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was educated in the public school system of Washington County. He was employed by the Gwinnett and DeKalb County Sanitation Departments.

In 1976 Charles was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Irene Smith Poole and together they share two daughters.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife: Mrs. Irene S. Poole, Atlanta, Georgia. Two daughters: Ms. Ja-net Poole (Bryant), Ms. Deirdre "Peanut" Smith, Atlanta, Georgia. Two sons: Mr. Charles Lee Mackey, Mr. Michael Mackey, Atlanta, Georgia. Four sisters: Ms. Genelle Render, Stockbridge, Georgia, Ms. Dorothy P. Ward (Robert), Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Diane (Willie) Sauder, Decatur, Georgia, Ms. Sarah Poole (Clinton) Bridges, Riverdale, Georgia. Nine brothers: Mr. Ennis Poole, Jr. Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Eugene Poole, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. C.W. Poole, Rochester, New York, Mr. Ricky (Lisa) Poole, Wrightsville, Georgia, Mr. Willie (Trina) Poole, Fayetteville, Georgia, Mr. Eddie Poole, Covington, Georgia, Mr. Larry (Cassandra) Poole, Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Tony Hunt, Covington, Georgia, Mr. James Bail, Hapeville, Georgia.
