Mrs. Izola Johnson

Mrs. Izola Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 29, at her residence. Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 4:30 P.M. at St. Paul AME Church. Interment was held in Smith Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Izola Johnson departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was born on August 22, 1931 in Washington County, GA to the parentage of the late Mr. Issac Edwards and the late Ms. Mary Jane Cuylar.

Izola was employed by the Washington County Health Department for over thirty years. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Riley Johnson, Jr. and great grandchild Raleigh Fluellen.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by two children: Ms. Doris Edwards, Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Mary Ann Fluellen, Sandersville, Georgia. Three grandchildren: Ms. Sandra Edwards, Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Tavaris Fluellen, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Termaine Fluellen. One sister: Mrs. Minnie Bodley, Detroit, Michigan. Five great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
