Mr. Bennie F. Brinson


Bennie “Mr. B.B.” Frank Brinson was born on January 1, 1947 to the late Mr. Sherman and Mrs. Lillian Brinson of Davisboro, GA.

On Sunday, July 2, 2017 Mr. Brinson departed this life in Atlanta, GA surrounded by family. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion AME Church with Rev. Wilhelmina Jordan officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

He joined Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church at an early age. Bennie graduated from T.J. Elder High School in Sandersville, GA on June 3, 1967. In 1969 he moved to Milwaukee, WI. He worked at A.O. Smith and then for Miller Brewing Company for twenty five years where he was president and steward of the union. After retiring from Miller, he moved to Atlanta, GA.

Mr. Brinson loved his family and always put them first in everything he did. He enjoyed fishing, sports, singing the blues, and discussing politics. He was a friend to everyone he came in contact with and supported his family unconditionally—nothing was ever too big!

He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Sherman Brinson; mother: Mrs. Lillian Brinson; two sisters: Marie Wells, Ernestine Brinson; six brothers: Wallace, Lucious, Willie C., Dan, Roy, and James Brinson.

Mr. Brinson leaves to cherish his amazing life two daughters: Mrs. Tawny (Scott) Brooks, Milwaukee, WI, Ms. Tracy Trammell, Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: Ms. Emma Brooks, Mr. Sam Brooks, Milwaukee, WI, Ms. Tatum Trammell, Atlanta, GA; two sisters: Ms. Betty Brame, Milwaukee, WI, Mrs. Ruth (Sammie) Haynes, Atlanta, GA; one sister-in-law: Ms. Susie Bell Brinson, Davisboro, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
